Taos is a unique town which is definitely worth exploring. Up in Taos Ski Valley, don't miss the opportunity to ride up Lift 4 to the Kachina Basin for great views of Wheeler Peak and the valley below. If you missed it in the way in to town, the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument is worth a trip north to Questa and the Rio Grand Gorge Bridge, northwest of town, also offer some spectacular views. Further off, Abiquiu, home of Georgia O'Keefe's Ghost Ranch, Bandelier National Monument, and Chama are also unique New Mexico destinations.
